Peephole Chevron Scrap Scarf

| Notes:
Good way to use up scrap yarn. Change yarn every 4 to 6 rows. Scarf is about 80 to 85 rows long.
MATERIALS:
Use yarn with similar weights (at least 4-ply weight) in coordinating colors (4 rows = about 11 yards)
Crochet hook - H/5.0 mm
PATTERN:
Foundation: Chain 22.

Row 1:
- Skip 2 chains (counts as 1 dc)
- 1 dc in each of next 4 chains (5 dc in total)
- Skip 2ch (makes a triangle peephole)
- 1 dc in each of next 4 chains
- Chain 2 (makes a V peephole)
- 1 dc in each of next 4 chains
- Skip 2 chains (makes a triangle peephole)
- 1 dc into each of next 3 chains
- 2 dc in last chain
- Turn

Check your first row is:
5 dc, triangle peephole 4 dc, V peephole 4 dc, triangle peephole 5 dc

Row 2:
- Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), 1 dc into first stitch, 1 dc into each of next 3 sts (5 dc total)
- Skip 2 stitches (makes a triangle peephole)
- 1 dc into each of the next 3 sts, (1 dc, chain 2, 1dc) into chain 2 space
- 1 dc into each of next 3 sts (completes group of 4 dc)
- Skip 2 stitches (triangle peephole)
- 1 dc into each of next 3 sts; 2 dc in top of turn chain (5 dc in total)
Repeat Row 2. Change yarn scraps as desired (preferable every 4 to 6 rows).
Finish: Add fringe in 3 peepholes and RH and LH edges
