Bev's Country Cottage Neighborhood was founded by Bev Qualheim in 2017. It is an umbrella organization that helps members find charities that accept handmade, sewn, knit, and crocheted items. She supports charities around the world. She recently discovered Handmade Especially for You (Feb 2022) and featured us on her site. Since then, we have received a few very nice scarves from her makers. They are happy to be affiliated with her and very happy to find Handmade.
Bev is very enterprising and aggressive in wanting to help those who need it. She developed a knit and a crochet scarf pattern with all our specs for her members to make:

A new group of scarfers has joined our project. Students in the SAGE Magnet, Louis Armstrong Middle School, started a Crochet Club as part of the social service component of their curriculum. Last Saturday, May 21, 2022, Leslye (representing Handmade) attended their Year End Showcase, where the members presented Handmade with their three baskets of 25 comfort scarves.
Leslye said, "They were very proud of their contribution and I was very touched by their support of our scarf project. During my appreciation speech, I told the audience about our having shipped over 160,000 scarves. I wish you could have heard the roar of the applause. It actually took me by surprise, but it felt good. The director of the program, Joseph Porter, told me the next day that the kids and the audience were very impressed by Handmade’s achievements and that so many kids want to join the Crochet Club he thinks next year they will donate 10 baskets of scarves."

Redwoods Knitters
The Redwoods Knitters enjoy being a part of Handmade Especially For You and love receiving our kits to knit since 2018.
Sarah from Redwoods Knitters says, "Thanks for all you do to facilitate our participation. Everyone enjoys the work and feels happy to be productive for such a good cause. It is fun to see what interesting combinations of colors and textures your volunteers create in the kits. We are all over 80 years old and still love to be useful."
Here are some photos of them with the scarves they've donated to us.
